Qualification

Minimum SPM Level or equivalent academic qualification
Possess valid certificate Level 2 (PCN/CSWIP/JPK/ASNT/ACCP) for MT and PT and UT

Minimum Experience / Requirement

More than THREE (3) years working experience in related or similar nature of work in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry starting from first certificate is obtained

Job Scope

Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures.
Interpret the results of all methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) such as magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing and dye penetrant testing.
Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of products or materials.
Select tools, equipment, or technologies for use in operations or projects.
Inspect equipment or systems.
Identify defects in solid materials using ultrasonic testing techniques.
Test characteristics of materials or structures.
Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results.
Conduct liquid penetrant tests to locate surface cracks by coating objects with
fluorescent dyes, cleaning excess penetrant, and applying developer.
Document non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, processes, or results.
Visually examine materials, structures, or components using tools and equipment such as endoscopes, closed circuit television systems, and fibre optics for signs of corrosion, metal fatigue, cracks, or other flaws.
Inspect finished products to locate flaws.
Map the presence of imperfections within objects using sonic measurements.
